Carlos Mendoza de Hevia is a Spanish actor, trained at the Royal School of Drama, RESAD, Madrid, in the Physical Theatre programme. He continued his studies at Rose Bruford College, London. He is also a professional musician, his main instruments being viola and violin.
His theatre work includes The Band’s Visit at the Donmar Warehouse in London’s West End, in the first European production of the Tony and Grammy-winning Broadway musical, which was nominated for Olivier Awards; Let Me Play the Lion Too with Told by an Idiot at the Barbican Theatre; Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at the Royal Opera House, London; and the Complicite Young Company Project at Hackney Downs Studios, London.
His television credits include Killing Eve (HBO) and The Erotic Adventures of Anaïs Nin (Sky Arts).
