Orla is ten years old and has been attending drama classes at Windmill Young Actors in Brighton for almost two years. In that time she has performed in several productions, the most recent being the Christmas show which focused on the writings of Dickens. Orla performed as Scrooge in the first part and delivered a monologue by Estella in Great Expectations in the second half. She also enjoys creative writing and loves writing her own plays. She also writes a lot of poetry and was recently runner up in the Betjeman Poetry Prize. Other hobbies include attending a local art group, playing the guitar, athletics – in particular sprint and long jump, circus skills – especially silks and trapeze, and ballet where she is currently preparing for her Grade 3 exam
