Alex was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Starting out in musical theatre, a self-trained singer, he appeared in Guys and Dolls at Leeds Playhouse, as well as playing leading roles in Oklahoma and Sweet Charity.
Over the years his love of theatre has turned to a love of screen, and he has appeared in adverts for Sky, Swift, Cravendale and many others.
To give him a competitive casting edge for film and TV Alex has amassed an array of skills and qualifications to complement his acting. These include firearms training, armed and unarmed combat, horse riding and motorcycle license, and he loves nothing more than getting out on his Kawasaki Ninja on a sunny day.
