Alex Hinson is an actor, singer, movement director, and yoga teacher originally from the USA. She received her bachelor degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in New York where she studied acting, movement, and French. She then went on to complete her theatrical training at International École de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France. Alex is an artistic director of Bric à Brac Theatre, an international theatre company formed at Lecoq in 2014. She has devised and performed in Bric à Brac productions that have performed at The Lyric Hammersmith, Derby Theatre, Southwark Theatre, as well as the Edinburgh Fringe and Vault Festival. She has movement directed pieces that have performed at The Arcola, The Cockpit, and Omnibus Theatre. When she is not creating and performing, Alex loves practicing yoga and baking cookies!
