Bridget Brabazon – Irish /Japanese

Bridget Brabazon is an Irish-Japanese actress from West Cork. She completed her BA in Theatre Studies & Performative Practices with French at University College Cork in 2023. She also spent a year, as part of her BA, at Université Grenoble Alpes in France studying film, opera, classical French theatre, and linguistics.

Having felt that she needed to undergo a more intensive and practical training, she moved to Birmingham to obtain her MFA in acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She completed her studies this year, 2026.

Her recent roles include Sylvia in The Pride by Alexi Kaye Campbell, Duchess in The Duchess of Malfi by John Webster, and Polina in The Seagull by Anton Chekhov.

She was also a finalist for the Constellations Creatives Bursary (New Earth Theatre) in 2026.

Bridget’s creativity, inspiration, and passion for acting are fuelled by long walks along the romantic West Cork coast.
