Catharina Christie – Swedish/ American

Catharina Christie is a Swedish-American actress who splits her time between Europe and USA. Her mother tongue is Swedish but she is fluent in English with a natural standard American accent. She’s also fluent in Spanish and is currently learning Russian.

Catharina grew up riding horses on a farm in southern Sweden but her childhood dream was always to pursue a career within the performing arts. It didn’t seem all that likely or possible during her farm-girl days but once she moved to the USA for highschool and college she started taking acting classes and hasn’t looked back since. She’s now a graduate of the 2-year Meisner program at the famous William Esper Studio in New York City as well as a post-graduate of the prestigious Oxford School of Drama in Oxford, UK.

Catharina has spent the last decade performing in stage and film productions in Los Angeles, New York and London. Most recently she can also be heard using her various accent skills in the ‘Hitman’ video games and going back to her Swedish roots in the horror feature ‘Midsommar’ by Ari Aster. But her career highlight to date is getting to share the big screen with the legendary Glenn Close in the critically acclaimed feature film ’The Wife’.

When not working, Catharina can usually be found at home cooking and binge streaming a juicy drama series, or at the gym. She’s passionate about healthy living and fitness and she loves traveling. She’s also in the process of creating a home voice-over booth in order to take her voice-over career to the next level.
