Chris Card is half Chinese, half English. Since he was a child he has always loved to perform. At the age of 6 his first introduction was learning to play the piano through his English father who was a well known expert piano maker and tuner. This developed his love for music. He was involved in LAMDA and Stagecoach classes at primary school which introduced him to acting, singing and dancing. He later found a passion for street/hip hop freestyle dancing and took some classes. Throughout his school years he would often perform live.
His first job was at a small music record label where he gained some studio experience about music production and songwriting and has some online voice lessons. During 2014-2015 he went on a gap year to China where he passed the beginners Mandarin language course and was awarded a scholarship. He regularly performed at the university competitions, including songs in Chinese and gained a fan base around the area. When he got back home he decided to pursue acting and was accepted at The Arden School of Theatre in Manchester.
He is currently in his final year and training for Stage, Film/TV and Radio/Voice work.
