Emily is an Actor-Musician originally from the North-West, Lancashire. She is currently in her final year of her training at Rose Bruford in Sicdup on the (BAHons) Actor-Musicianship course. Throughout her years at Rose Bruford, Emily has gained great skills in musicality, movement, acting, singing and dance. She has played a variety of roles ranging from Julius Caeser in Shakespeare’s Julius Caeser to Quake and cover for Dea in The Grinning Man.
Emily is a Lancashire lass having grown up in Leyland (one of her current bases)! Growing up Emily took an interest in singing, instruments, acting and putting on a show which is what started her dream of being a performer! She has previously trained in Musical Theatre at BTEC level (improving her training in MT on her course at Rose Bruford) and has been playing her trombone since she was 7! Whilst learning her trombone, she joined two marching bands, whilst also competing in competitions, helping her grow her experience! Emily is also a strong singer, she has been singing for as long as she can remember and thoroughly enjoyed being able to build her knowledge in singing throughout the years!
Whilst being at Rose Bruford, Emily has played many differing roles, one of her favourite roles to play was Quake in The Grinning Man directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones! Emily was also a huge part of the ensemble which she enjoyed very much as she was able to show her movement ability and play a variety of different characters whilst also playing a variety of different instruments from her trombone to being on keys!
