Currently a MA student at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (2021-2023), and a graduate from the CertHE Introduction to Acting Course at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts (July 2020), Emily has been immersing herself into all areas of creativity and career/ skills furtherment. Presently she works as a Health Care Assistant, on a Paediatric Ward (NHS), and previously as a creative practitioner for SEN children, where she specialised particularly teaching a Deaf, Downsyndome, ASD girl, which required the skill of BSL and an adaptability to the ever -changing environment.
With her free time Emily enjoys fitness, and is searching for her next challenge, completing both a 10km Tough Mudder, and a 100km walk from London to Brighton in 24hours in 2021.
In 2018 she performed the lead role of ‘Ralph’ in an all-female Lord of the Flies at The Old Rep, Birmingham, which was nominated for a ‘What’s on Stage Award’ for the Best Amateur Dramatic/Operatic Group Production.
Moreover in 2019 she performed in a short film called ‘Gestures of Collapse’ (Dir. Helen Flannigan) which was shown in Ghent as part of an open studio exhibition.
More recently with Italia Conti, Emily has performed the roles of Stella in Eden End by J.B. Priestley (Dir. Jack Gogarty, Italia Conti) and Estella in Great Expectations by David Farr (Dir. Jack Gogarty, Italia Conti) to name a couple.
