Federica Ruggieri is an Italian actress, deviser, and performer. She graduated from the MA Theatre Lab at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She previously trained in acting in both English and French at the Cours Florent Academy in Paris. She also has a background in fine art and performance, having graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Nantes (France).
She is trilingual in English, French, and Italian. She has performed in theatre productions, films, television series, music videos, and commercials across France, Italy, the UK, India, and South Korea. She also appeared in the feature film Juste Ciel by Laurent Tirard, released in French cinemas.
Federica recently completed an international tour in the UK and India with the play Unsewn, which she co-wrote and performed in the lead role. In India, The Assam Tribune described her performance as Eva as “enthralling everyone with her outstanding performance.”
She has also appeared in the short films The Nanny, directed by American filmmaker Jeremiah Pitman, and The Color of a Kiss, directed by Gabriel Kellet. She recently worked with the French contemporary dance company Compagnie Bissextile on the production Messe Basse.
Federica is trained in contemporary dance at the Ménagerie de Verre in Paris, as well as horse riding and stage combat (M.A.D. and Takes 3 Workshops).
