Janhavi Shivalkar is an Indian-American artist from Atlanta. They trained at East 15 Acting School, graduating with an MFA in Acting in 2024. They have been performing since they were young, starting with singing then finding their way to theatre when they were 15, and since then they’ve explored many different aspects of theatre including design, stage management and most recently, writing. Through their career, they want to create work that challenges normative structures both on stage and screen.
When not acting, Janhavi is an avid reader. They love to read fantasy novels (especially ones with political subplots) and have recently found themselves drawn to translated literary fiction.
Janhavi’s previous credits include Felicity in Bull in a China Shop, Ensemble in Roger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Jacob Marley/Tiny Tim in Piers Torday’s A Christmas Carol, and Roderigo in Othello.
