Katerina is an actress and theatre maker. Ever since she was a little girl she wanted to tell stories and make invisible worlds visible through performing. When she grew up, she studied Acting and graduated with honours from Andreas Voutsinas Drama School. She continued her adventures at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, where she studied devising, performing, writing, directing, making experimental and immersive theatre, working with site and space and working with communities.
Katerina is, also, a teacher with specialization in Drama and the Arts. She has attended short courses and workshops on storytelling, puppet theatre, theatre of the oppressed, psychology, acting on screen, writing for children, short-film making, history of Art and illustration. Some words that define her are honesty, playfulness, innovation and humour.
She has written, directed and performed short performances for various conferences against children’s abuse, against racism & cultural discrimination andparticipated in short films and plays in Greece. Her Master’s final piece was presented at the Old Red Lion Theatre by a collective formed in the school, Drifting Magpies.
