Native Edinburgher Kirsty is a recent graduate of Drama Studio London (2023;) where she starred as Arkadina in ‘The Seagull,’ Harriet in ‘Man of Mode’ and W in ‘Lungs.’ A well rounded actor-musician, she thrives both on stage and screen. She has a particular affinity for strong, sardonic and comedic as well as, naive, emotionally vulnerable characters.
She began performing on stage as a child in the Lyceum and Edinburgh Festival Theatres, and was a member of the National Youth Theatre. Additionally, she has a background in high-end film and TV production, having worked as an AD and personal assistant on some of the biggest and best known projects of the last 5 years. Recently, she directed a short piece seen in Persever Productions’ ‘Scratch Night.’
Outside acting, she’s very active and enjoys swimming, horse-riding, fencing, bouldering, and is an avid ice hockey fan. Exceptionally skilled as a pianist, she also plays numerous other instruments including cello and clarinet. She is a certified scuba-diver.
