Michelene Aiton is a trained and experienced actor, originally hailing from South Africa, but settled in the United Kingdom in 2002, after completing an intensive Performing Arts course with the London Drama School (Startek-uk).
She has performed on stage, in musicals and pantomimes and she is also no stranger to radio and television, having appeared in TV soaps and commercials as well as presenting on international shopping channels, social media platforms and directing and producing her own local projects.
Michelene began her professional career, at the age of six, when she dubbed the voice of a squirrel in an episode of the children’s TV series: “The Wonderful Adventures of Nils” (“Nils Holgerson”, in Afrikaans).
She co-presented a home shopping info-mercial, with the very talented, Hakeem Kai-Kazim known for his roles in ‘Black Sails’ and ‘Dynasty’ and also had the great privilege of briefly working with Vicky Michelle, (from ‘Allo ‘Allo fame), on a short film.
Michelene qualified as a fitness instructor, personal trainer and Pilates instructor a few years ago, to keep in shape and to share the benefits of a healthy mind and body. She also continues training in body combat and British military self defense and boxing.
