Molly is a British actress, born and raised in Bournemouth, Dorset, of English & Eurasian heritage. She grew up being involved in drama and performance and, after an earlier career in HR and Secretarial, studied Performing Arts at The University of Winchester, graduating with a BA (Hons). During this time, she also achieved LAMDA Acting exams, Bronze, Silver and Gold, with Distinction and Honours.
She continued her professional training in London at The Bridge Theatre Training Company on the Post Graduate Acting course, performing at the Cockpit in Shakespeare’s As You Like it and Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt. Inspired by Shakespeare, she later completed an MA in Theatre Practice – Staging Shakespeare at The University of Exeter which included a practical residency and performance of King John at The Globe Theatre and a Devon tour playing Lady Capulet in a modern rendition of Romeo and Juliet. She has participated in workshops and short courses including Acting in TV & Film at RADA, Working Shakespeare at The Central School of Speech and Drama, and The London Centre for Theatre Studies.
With an interest in both stage and screen work, she has performed in various productions including new writing at The Marine Theatre Lyme Regis, Bournemouth University, The Lighthouse Poole and The Henley Fringe, as well as open air theatre, independent feature and short films and is looking forward to exploring further opportunities in TV and Film.
As a focus on creativity during lockdown, she created a YouTube channel for some monologues www.youtube.com/@mollyjackson9358 .
Alongside acting, Molly’s interests include Pilates and dance classes.
