Ninaz Khodaiji – Indian

Ninaz trained as an actor at the Herbert Berghof Studio and Lee Strasberg Institute, New York; she has an MA in Theatre Directing from Middlesex University.

 

She has worked for over two decades in theatre as a performer, director, writer, programmer and producer, and has done a number of residencies at Oval House Theatre, Royal Court Theatre, Aldeburgh Music, Visiting Arts and Rich Mix.

 

Her acting credits include ‘The March’ (tour) and lead roles in ‘The White Plague’ at the Landor Space, ‘Passing’ (Tara Theatre), ‘The Tree of Seeds’ (Actors Centre), ‘Damage’ (Richmix), ‘Mujib The Rebel’ (Queen Mary’s), ‘Close Quarters’ (NCPA/NGMA/Prithvi), ‘The Taming of the Shrew’, ‘Charivari’ (NCPA), ‘Skirmishes’, ‘The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-the-Moon Marigolds’ and ‘The Wasteland and The Love-Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’ (British Council/Prithvi).  Other stage credits include ‘Steel Magnolias’, ‘Gaslight’ and several productions with Satya Dev Dubey, with whom she trained in Mumbai. 

 

She had small roles in the Hollywood movie ‘The Justice League’ and in ‘Bloods’ on Sky. Ninaz has also appeared in the Bollywood movie, ‘Shandaar’ and in the award-winning ‘Pardaa’.
