Penelope Dudley – English

Sent to Coventry she studied for 2 years in a diploma in theatre arts performances included an end of year one as Suffragette Leader Christabel Pankhurst in Annie Kennie her graduating show at the Belgrade Theatre (Studio).
Penelope’s largely grass root credits include her own style of authentic writing Talking Heads 4+1 Monologues at Rada Studios 2015 and Joe McGowan of Shamrock Rose Entertainment God’s Little  Angels- Irish Centre 2016 both on the Camden Fringe.
From rehearsed readings inc recently with Carolyn Pertwee in Otherwise engaged at the Park theatre, short film screenings at the BFI for the British heart foundation as mother to a child (Jamie) with an undiagnosed condition My story/ Their story shown in hospitals up and down the country, to a screening of a comedy short Eight steps to enlightenment and a nervous breakdown as Pippa shown in the short film corner at Cannes 2008.
She has also performed in 2 Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet as Lady Capulet at the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival and as Phebe in As You Like It (included some doubling). She has appeared in 2 productions for the City Lit rep company 6 characters in search of an author and the Peter Hall’s adaptation of Animal Farm as Clover.
In contrast in 2009 she played Party girl Carol in Girl’s Night the musical for a transaction theatre tour and sang a solo to many hen’s (non clucking) all over East Anglia inc at The Princess theatre Hunstanton and the Rhodes Arts theatre Centre in Bishop Stortford.
Penelope is qualified to a level 1 in BSL, embarking on learning the Ukulele and recently decorated church pews for a Wedding thus becoming an apprentice Florist in the process.
