Vasyl is from a small City in Ukraine called Kalush. His love of acting started at a very young age when he won a popular comedian contest and was encouraged to persue a career on stage. He graduated Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with an honours degree ‘Performing Arts’ and immediately started working professionally in theatre. He has performed at Lesia Ukrainka Lviv Academic Dramatic Theatre, ‘People and Puppets’ Lviv Academic Theatre of Variety Miniatures and Independent Theatre ‘Gershom’.
He was awarded as the best Ukrainian theatrical actor in 2021 at the All-Ukrainian Theatre Festival for ‘GAME’. He was also part of a team that was nominated for the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine in 2022 which is one of the most prestigious awards in the country.
He moved to the Uk in 2023 and in 2025 played the main character, Maks in new drama written by Lucy McIlgorn at the Edinburgh Fringe. The Production won an Outstanding Theatre Award at Edfringe.
