Yasmin is a versatile actress with a multicultural background. She began her career in film acting in her native country, Finland, eventually moving to England to study at East 15 Acting School. Since graduating with a BA(Hons) in 2016 Yasmin has been working with different theatre companies including Thiasos Theatre and West Midlands Children’s Theatre. She is a co-founder of Backpack Theatre, a diverse, young theatre company creating new, innovative work about current issues. She has used her skills and experience in different physical theatre forms to create devised, ensemble-based shows with the company.
Yasmin has also continued to develop her career on screen in productions such as Knowle West Media Center’s film “Black Cherry” as well as several corporate and commercial productions. She is fluent in English and Finnish and can speak Swedish to a basic standard.
