Zsara is a British northern actor-singer living in London having recently graduated from London College of Music on their new course Acting and Theatre-Making in 2020.
Zsara found their true passion for performing at 19 years old when they were asked to audition for their college’s production of RENT whilst studying their A-Levels. Luckily, they auditioned just in time for Zsara to decline university offers studying Filmmaking and to spend a year focusing on Actor-Singer training in preparation for drama school auditions the following year.
Zsara believes that studying Acting and Theatre-Making at LCM was fundamentally the best course they could have spent the next three years on due to the diversity of the course, which believes in helping students to become all round creatives, such as having the opportunities to write, direct, dramaturg, choreograph and devise whilst being trained in core acting methods of Strasberg,Meisner and Stanislavski. During their third year, Zsara played Shakespeare’s infamous character Prospero in ‘After the Tempest’ as well as a Drag Queen in a devised piece of theatre titled ‘Lorca in New York’ and originated the role of Kelly in a new play written by Amy Ewbank ‘Hooves & Wings’.
During the height of the pandemic, Zsara worked as a Covid Marshall at Pinewood studios to gain invaluable experience on film sets and they also dabble in filmmaking; most recently they have just filmed a short titled ‘Sonder’ which will be entered into film festivals later in the year.
As a Non-Binary Actor (they/them/she/her) Zsara hopes to be a part of the change into a more inclusive industry by originating non-binary and genderfluid characters across Film,TV and Theatre.
